This weekend’s adventure was the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, California.
The place had more kids than an elementary school playground. Bravo, parents!
I find it quite difficult to take decent pictures in aquariums. I mean, how do you know if that jellyfish is the size of a Volkswagen or a loaf of bread?
How do you provide a sense of scale without a human in the frame?
My personal preference is for the critters that light up.
“Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack in everything
That’s how the light gets in.”
