Weekly Photo Challenge: Zigzag

100_0601_edited-3

This ceiling painting in the Hall of Mirrors at the Palace of Versailles glorifies “The Sun King” Louis XIV.  Nothing says power and glory like bolts of lightening! For other interpretations of zigzag, go here!

For this week’s challenge, share with us your own take on zigging and zagging. It can be a winding path, the Herringbone pattern on your coat, a scar: any jagged line that tells a story.

    1. They do, don’t they! Perhaps when seen from floor level, the rounding makes the lightening seem more natural? Or, perhaps the point of the lightening is to draw attention to the hand of the glorious King, where the next incipient bolt is waiting to be cast? I don’t know. What strikes me is the audacity of the Sun King himself! Really? You think you’re the Sun King???
