Isn’t it? This cathedral is so beautiful, all I needed to do was find the symmetrical shot.
Thank you for your visit & comment, Karuna.

It is easy to see that the bests artists and architects of those times had a single vision of heavenly glory, isn’t it?
Thank you for your congrats, Perpetua.

Most of them that created the structure has a fixation on their God. And they did create it for GOD.

400 comes quickly! Thanks Karen. This cathedral could captivate a visitor for many hours. Salamanca is a joyous university town, full of old splendor and energetic people. I liked it very much.

I’m trying to think of the shortest route from Australia to Spain. There is no short route, is there?

There is only one way to spain and thats the “LONG” way MK!, still it will be worth it.

Thank you Eliza. Architecture can give us lots of symmetry, but these old cathedrals are a world beyond that. And thanks on my “anniversary”. I must say it’s flown by, because I’ve made new friends and have learned a lot about photography since I started.

I would be delighted if the effect of modern buildings were as moving as these old ones.

What a lovely photo; you really captured it’s beauty. I was once lucky enough to attend Mass in the “old” part of the cathedral–it was all in Mozarabic, though! One of most interesting experiences of my time there.

I can think of nothing that would better capture a visit to this cathedral than to have experienced that Mass. Wow.
