Inside the cathedral at Salamanca, Spain. The old city of Salamanca is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. See other examples of the weekly photo challenge for symmetry here.

Hooray! This is my 400th post!

    1. It is easy to see that the bests artists and architects of those times had a single vision of heavenly glory, isn’t it?

Thank you for your congrats, Perpetua.

    1. 400 comes quickly! Thanks Karen. This cathedral could captivate a visitor for many hours. Salamanca is a joyous university town, full of old splendor and energetic people. I liked it very much.

    1. Thank you Eliza. Architecture can give us lots of symmetry, but these old cathedrals are a world beyond that. And thanks on my “anniversary”. I must say it’s flown by, because I’ve made new friends and have learned a lot about photography since I started.

  1. What a lovely photo; you really captured it’s beauty. I was once lucky enough to attend Mass in the “old” part of the cathedral–it was all in Mozarabic, though! One of most interesting experiences of my time there.
