It is actually in the 40’s here overnight! Yikes, I think that is way too cold. It was in the low 60’s at the beach at mid-day. I had a nice layer thing going with a sweatshirt on top. But the kids seemed quite comfortable. I’m glad you’re warming into the 40s. That means you get to go for walks, right?
There was a time when I had to spend 10 days per month, every month, in Chicago. Including winter. I don’t know how you do it! I was completely flummoxed by ice and snow and frozen goose poop.

I walk every day, all weather. It may be a short one if it is VERY cold, but I force myself out and am always glad I did.

Thanks David. There was a ridge of sand about 6′ high – a wind break, I think. The chairs were perched up on this ridge.
