🙂 How sweet of you – While I’m not sure of the exact species, it is a type of Fishtail Palm. 😉 But my first thought when I saw te photo was fishtail design box kite!

It’s down there amongst all the really huge trees of the jungle garden. We headed directly there because it was hot hot hot here today, and that’s the shadiest part of the gardens. Like I said… “parasol”.
And I’m sure you’re right about the fishtail palm.

Looks like a bunch of paper plane insects (papyrus vivamus) that have docked nose first for the night on some sort of stalks. Then again they’re probably what Eliza said.

Ummmm, are paper plane insects yellow? If so, then they’re what you said. Otherwise, they’re what Eliza said. Or else they’re parasols. I’m becoming less sure as the evening wears on.
