A face only mother would like never-the-less, he..err, it certainly has a wonderfully colorful face for a bird!

It’s a glaring contrast between his fine feathers and not so fine features. But maybe that’s part of his charm.

Thanks David. I think those masks are supposed to be colorful (yes) and scary (not so much). Or maybe they’re supposed to make you laugh. That works.

I have no clue. Embarrassing. I usually try to also photograph the little name tags, but I forgot. I do know that it’s not a sparrow!
