The people of Costa Rica call iguana “tree chickens” because they (apparently) taste like chicken. This one is about 4′ long. Sarapiqui rainforest, Costa Rica.
Very effective composition. The contrast of the sharp detail of the lizard and the soft background create a very eye catching image. Won’t mention the chicken comparison to my wife, we have two Chinese Water dragons and a skink. 🙂
